PLANETS have teamed up with “Creative Giving” to raise funds for PLANETS with a unique charity greeting card and an entry to the lottery.

​

When you purchase your pack of greeting cards to support PLANETS you will be entered into a lottery to win the original framed painting. The painting is oil on board and is 50cm x 50cm.

​

The cards will be sold in packs of 10 via the PLANETS web shop and will be £12.50 plus postage and packaging.

 

All funds raised will support PLANETS with the winner being picked at random on January 29th, 2023 at “pick the winner dinner”, details to be advertised shortly.

His “The Girl with the pearl earring” painting was inspired by the work of the Dutch artist Vermeer and was created during the pandemic whilst Kenn was receiving treatment and surgery for bowel cancer.

 

The image with a face masks resonates strongly with us all, and in particular cancer patients and their supporters with whom a face mask has become part of our daily lives. It was important to Kenn that this image was used for a charity raising vital funds to support cancer patients like himself.

Kenn is a retired Architect having established and run an award-winning practice in Portsmouth Hampshire for over 40 years.

​

During that period Kenn focused on Special Needs Urban Regeneration and Social Housing. He has lived and worked in Hampshire his whole life with his wife and family. He now paints for good causes in his art studio at home in Hampshire.

 

He also enjoys spending time in his cottage in Dorset which has become a welcome retreat during his cancer treatment where he is writing book on his experiences during his cancer journey.
